Peaceful Gated Stay | Walk to Dining & Parks

I don't know how to send this information directly to the host so I'll post our experience here. Location: Quiet, safe feeling neighborhood near Overton. Easy walk to local restaurants.Parking: Free parking was a great perk.Cleanliness: The space wasn't fully clean; we found crumbs or some kind of leftovers on the couch.Kitchen & Amenities: No counter space for prep or drying dishes, and zero kitchen towels. The microwave has a broken foot, hot water takes a very long time to reach the sink, and one stove burner stopped working. The Wi-Fi is weak and slow; I had to work from another location. Many light bulbs throughout the space were burned out.Layout & Functionality: The bed is against the wall, blocking access on one side. The bathroom lacks towel hooks, and the tiny sink surround causes water to roll onto the toilet paper. The living room table is metal and magnetizes devices.Noise & Light: Single-pane windows let in all outside noise. Because of thin walls, we were told to keep noise down, making the tiny wall TV hard to hear. The biggest issue was a neighbor's bright floodlights shine right into the bedroom; the blinds don't block them, so we had to find and hang blackout curtains to sleep. The AC worked but overnight stopped making it very warm.Check-in: The front door keypad was often unresponsive.Overall it's a good location, but needs maintenance and basic outfitting to be comfortable. I feel that the VRBO post does not accurately match the space and price.

A safe, comfortable + reasonable place to stay while visiting Memphis! Especially convenient for midtown; helpful host; nice and quiet neighborhood. We will be back.

I’ve been to Memphis 4x, and every time I book with midtown stays. It’s always reliable. I’ll be booking more in the future!

near to Overton Square and Beale Street. Only hassle is the inability to pull up right in front of the Door. I was unable to open the walk through gate.

I found this property to be perfect for my needs while visiting Memphis. Quiet, safe, clean, and off the busy streets. Everything I needed. I was very pleased with everything!
